Seizure disorders are commonly encountered in clinical practice. The field of canine and feline seizure disorders has been rapidly developing in the last years. Presenting this current knowledge clearly and concisely in a new textbook with numerous illustrations and with videos will provide a novel resource for any veterinarian with an interest in seizure disorders. The chapters will be structured in a way that enables the reader to acquire in a time effective manner the knowledge that could otherwise be developed only after searching, reading and critically interpreting several peer reviewed papers published in different journals and several years in practice as a neurology specialist. This new book will comprise 19 chapters, discussing diagnostics, genetic, pharmacology and treatment. The book include also a chapter dedicated to quality of life, support and communication with the owner/ caregiver of the seizure patient.
